Create a Profile
Start by signing up and creating a user profile. When you register, you'll be asked to identify your relationship to Capitol Hill:
• Current Hill staffer
• Former Hill staffer
• Aspiring Hill staffer
• Spectator/Other
We use this information to tailor your experience on the site and ensure reviews come from verified individuals.
Verify Your Experience
To maintain the credibility of reviews, we use a simple verification process to confirm that users who submit reviews have actually worked in the offices they're reviewing. This helps ensure that reviews are authentic while still protecting your anonymity.
Leave a Review
You can leave anonymous reviews for any congressional office where you've worked. Reviews are meant to inform others about the work culture, leadership, expectations, and opportunities within that specific office.
Each review includes two parts:
• Overall Office Score – rate the office on a 1–5 scale based on your general experience.
• Category-Specific Ratings – score the office on key factors like Pay & Benefits, Work-Life Balance, Office Morale, Management Style, Professional Development. This gives both a high-level view and a detailed understanding of the office.
Read and Compare Reviews
All users — including aspiring staffers and outside observers — can browse reviews to compare offices, spot trends, and make more informed career decisions.
Keep It Constructive
Our community relies on honest, respectful input. We moderate reviews to ensure they are helpful, fact-based, and free from harassment or personal attacks. This platform only works if staffers like you share your insights. Your review can help someone else avoid a toxic workplace or find the right fit to grow their career — and that's the power of transparency.
